ARTISTIC VERVES
Divya Thakur’s design company, Design Temple is coming up with a series of innovative products fetching inspiration from the animal world. The animal factor, which was so well attached with our culture, has been in a destructive stage in the recent past. With ‘Animania’, the artist tries to throw light on the beauty associated with each of these creatures and the need to protect them.
The products includes a set of graphic art prints, playing cards, posters, flash cards for children (in Hindi), diaries, rugs etc. The company, which has joined hands with the NGO, Wildlife SOS, will give away 10% of the proceeds of the sale for the welfare of the animals the NGO has rescued and rehabilitated.
